Directions from the A303 approaching from London (i.e. from the East):
After entering Devon at Marsh you will pass a sign for the Blackdown Hills, then the A303 takes a sharp bend towards the left. Pass a garage on your right and the Newcott Services on your left. Continue on and pass a farm on your right before seeing a large sign (on left) advising you to take a break. Just after this sign, on the bend, there is a turning on the right (it is not named but there are a cluster of speed signs at its entrance.) If you pass the A30 turning on the left to Chard you have gone too far.
Take this unnamed turning on your right and keep right whenever you have to make a choice. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 miles passing Rookery Farm. Twistgates is on your right. Follow the road around the perimeter of the property and the car parking facilities are entered via a turning on your right over a cattle grid.
Directions from the A303 approaching from Honiton (i.e. from the West):
Follow the A30 until it splits off to the right signed to Chard. Continue straight on A303. Immediately after this split there is a lay-by on your right and at the end of the lay-by there on the bend there is a turning on the left. (it is not named but there is a cluster of speed signs at its entrance). If you pass the Newcott Services on your right you have gone too far.
Take this unnamed turning on your left and keep right whenever you have to make a choice. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 miles passing Rookery Farm. Twistgates is on your right. Follow the road around the perimeter of the property and the car parking facilities are entered via a turning on your right over a cattle grid.
If coming from Taunton:
Follow the B3170 from Corfe. When this road joins the A303 turn right and follow the instructions as though from London. (You will immediately have a garage on your right and shortly the Newcott Services on your left).
